This page gives some examples of our current work. Lifecote undertakes projects both large and small both. Projects have the same priority, high level of customer care, and attention to detail.

 

It is not our intention to criticise others, but in our industry there are many sub-contractors, companies using cheap Eastern European labour, and combinations of these are producing poor workmanship.

 

At Lifecote we pride ourselves with the policy that our Area managers are hands on from the initial point of contact to the completion of works.

 

There are NO sub-contractors at Lifecote Ltd. We have receltly undertaken the following projects:

Detached 10 Bedroom Property in Hampstead London

 

This property was suffering from damp penetration, rising damp and lateral dampness due to high ground levels. The owner’s consulted three other well known National companies but chose Lifecote to undertake the remedial works.

 

This was principally due to Lifecote’s ability to undertake all works required without Sub contracting, and being able to provide accurate costs for all requirements in advance and in full detail.

Our skilled technicians checked every square metre of this extensive property and made all necessary structural repairs using the latest resin bonding material. This will prevent further water ingress and structural decay.

The property had a failing damp proof course inserted by a company that had recently ceased trading. You may see this is clearly at the wrong height. Lifecote inserted a new damp Proof course and appropriate plastering system internally. This is covered by our 30 year insurance backed guarantee.

 

Finally, the property was treated with our latest Rain Stopper technology before being painted by the Lifecote team. The property has now no dampness and the owners recommended Lifecote to immediate neighbours with a similar problem.

An example of "another well known" Companies work 

This is an example of one of the Country’s leading Damp Proof specialist Plc companies completed a job in North London last year. A damp proof course inserted at the wrong height, an air brick inserted at the wrong level and they left a down pipe venting around a ground level that was too high ! And charged £2000.00!

 

Why do these problems occur with respected brand names? It’s very simply because they sub-contract most work to small one man bands. This is to save money. But in this case they even argued that the work was of a reasonable standard?

 

Lifecote inserted new air bricks (not cheap plastic ones from B & Q!), reduced the ground level and inserted a new damp proof course at the right level with respect to the internal suspended timber floor, treated the sub floor for rot and infestation and only charged £1400.00 + Vat with our 30 year insurance backed guarantee.
