Technically its now accepted as a proven fact that aqueous or solvent based solutions are substantially and up to 70% less effective than a cream system, with  an average 52% less active ingredient on a gram/Per Litre scale.

Lifecote damp proofing cream has an active ingredient content of 60% w/w compared with solutions of 5-17% W/W.

It should be further noted the operator of an aqueous solution system has no control of where the solution is actually being dispersed. You may pay more for a system that does far less.

The Lifecote system is targeted directly in the mortar beds allowing natural dispersion once dissolved.
