We are not tied to any of the Chemical manufactures and do not subscribe to their guarantee schemes. This is a very important point when considering a contractor. Many chemical companies insist their dealers use their chemicals solely and have to buy unnecessary chemicals to undertake unnecessary treatments. We simply buy our chemicals monthly from the best market deal offered at that time, thus can pass on considerable saving to our customers.
We do not use expensive Dryzone tubes produced by Safeguard, Sovereign, or Biokillcrown, but simply a bulk alternative brought at half the price. This consequently enables Lifecote Ltd to beat any quote offered by another Damp Proofing contractor in the UK today.We do not use light weight plaster systems brought from the chemical companies, which are basically three times the price of a classical sand and cement mix, but unlike a sand and cement mix can be applied without specialist skills therefore allowing companies to employ semi-skilled tradesman rather than time served professionals.
It may also be worth considering that if a chemical company approves a contractor there must be some financial bond between the two parties. This may cost you, the customer, a premium for those services. It should be noted that some chemical companies approve a contractor without checking the contractors work- merely to gain his business.

Over the years we have issued well over 3,000 and Lifecote Ltd is one of the few companies whose trading history exceeds the terms of its guarantees.Westminster Guarantee Trustees Ltd underwrite the Lifecote guarantee and this is sound reassurance that if Lifecote Ltd ceases trading a well founded and established guarantee trust will up hold our guarantee.
Westminster Guarantee Protection Ltd (the trustee) are both Dti and Financial Service Authority approved. In addition our work has been checked and approved by the NHBC on a recent five million pound property development project in North West London. We undertook the entire damp and timber remedial works on this commercial development. We are also a contractor for local councils.

If you are a prospective buyer of a property there is a fee of £75.00 which you may pay through the website.
However, we do charge a survey fee for Central London postcodes of £100.00 to cover costs. If our quotation is accepted this would be refunded by reducing the amount payable for the works by this sum.
